The last few days have been ...well.... pretty strange :D.
Here's some pictures of the guys we've been hanging out with:
Our hostess with the
mostess Nicky: (She has to wear that dress at her job at a German Restaurant allegedly

She and her flatmates have been really great to put us up these past few days and a great bunch of guy to go out with. The first night we were here we got to meet Chris Dent:
That's Britney in the background (one of the girls in the flat). I think Chris and
Nicky went to school together or something. We've had an amazing few nights out with these guys, especially last night when we went to Nicky's home town of Chilton (
population 3108). We ended up going to her family reunion for a few hours, drinking beer from a big trailer and playing some odd games, happy days!

Had a good laugh there talking to some of her family and playing some games like potato sack racing and cherry pip spitting.... it was actually a good laugh! From there we headed back to some bar to get some food with Nicky's mum and her boyfriend Bob. Had about 10kilo's of steak and then moved on to a bar where Nicky's friend worked and then the main bar in Chilton. Now, while on this trip we've all been looking forward to checking out these small towns but last night was quite a strange one. Nice enough little bar with reasonably average looking people but all was not quite as it seemed. After playing some pool and having a few beers we met some of
Nicky's family and friends from
Chilton and there the onslaught of people saying "Dude are you from Scotland for real?" began :D. The other guys managed to
body swerve most of it but I got caught and cornered... They were all really nice but quite intense and scary at times :D I asked one guy what he got up to at nights and at the weekends. "I like fighting" he replied with a glazed look. "Oh, like boxing or martial arts?", "Nope, just in bars".
Alriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!
It was the funniest thing I'd ever heard at the time :) It sound worse than it actually was cos they were all really nice and friendly, if a little odd. Good times though! After the bar we headed back to someones house where we sat in the back garden around a bonfire drinking beer and telling jokes, all in all one of the best nights so far!
We haven't really done too much in
Milwaukee except go to a few bars but i think we'll remedy that tomorrow
. Perhaps go for another swim in Lake Michigan and just take it easy. Flying out to Denver on Wednesday morning which is going to be another hassle moving on but
I'm excited none the less. We've still got a few days left with these guys but I'll really miss these guys.
That's the problem with us constantly being on the move, you get somewhere and meet some really
nice people then have to move on! Ah well,
tis the nature of travelling I suppose!
Here's some pictures of the other nights out we've had in Milwaukee:

Oh aye,
I've been slagging Chris about baseball and how easy it is so he's going to take us to a cage tomorrow to hit a few balls - should be fun!
That's all for now.
Later.
